Blue Hearts Quilt by Mandy

A queen size quilt I made as a Christmas present for my mother-in-law. Her favourite colour is blue and there are plenty of shades of it in this quilt. It was quite an easy pattern to make. The hardest part was the quilting (due to the size and weight of hte quilt). I had my husband holding the quilt while I was doing the quilting towards the edges as the weight was pulling the quilt down to the floor. Based on a pattern from Australian Patchwork and Quilting magazine Vol 18 No 3 called Pink Rules.
