Last year I decided to make a larger quilt for us to use in the van (my prior one was really only a bed topper). So, I found this awesome pattern and set to work. When I started the quilt, the interior colours of the van were navy, burgundy and gold. Half way through making the blocks, we bought a new van (interior colours were grey/silver and blue) so I had to change a few things - do more blue van blocks. The pattern was originally only 8 blocks but because I wanted a queen size quilt I made an extra 7 blocks. Those extra blocks I was able to incorporate little things that related to us and our camping - Delta, Mitchell's Swag, NIfty's infamous hook, wine etc. I had a lot of fun with this quilt and was able to have it finished to go in the van for it's inaugural trip in September.
