A single bed sample quilt made during a beginner's quilting course taught by Angela Langdon at the Toowoomba Quilters Club. I did the course with Mum. Even though we had been quilting for a number of years when we took the class, we thought it might help to improve our skills, which it definitely did. I started with the Japanese border and feature print, and chose my other colours based on it. I had lots of fun with the quilting on this (single bed quilts are way easier and less painful to quilt than queens). I love how the purple really pops in this photo.
