After finishing my Shibori Pixelated Quilt I wanted a little break from sewing so pulled out my crochet - I have an UFO that I thought I would get stuck into. Unfortunately, it is proving a little problematic (I am winging it so stopping often to work out the next step).
Anyway, while searching for all my crochet hooks so I could experiment with different stitches that I came across while working out how to attach my squares, I decided to make something to keep them all together nice & neatly. Now, I could have sewn something up but I figured because it was for crochet hooks, I would crochet something up. Off to Pinterest I go and find an easy travel roll pattern. Me, being me, changed things up a bit and this is the end result - I changed the way the stripe through the middle goes (I did a row of treble, then double, then treble - the pattern was a double for the different colour only) and the scalloped border (I like the effect of doing a double in between each scallop) and made a crochet strap (the pattern just used ribbon).
The yarn was just something left over from something I started years ago........

I like that - you can make me one for Christmas.
