I bought these 2 batik paintings in Malaysia on a South-East Asian cruise in 2006. I had planned to get them framed but never got around to it. Earlier this year I got the idea to quilt them and turn them into a wall-hanging instead. I added some free motion stitching to highlight different areas and did some outline quilting.
