A couple of years ago, we went to Alaska for our holiday of a lifetime. While in Anchorage wandering around the town, I discovered a Quilting Shop! Naturally, I couldn't not go in, much to Nifty's displeasure (but he ended up going inside eventually too - there is a photo below to prove it). So, in I wandered and because I couldn't go into a Quilting Shop in Alaska and not buy anything, I came out with a table runner kit with beautiful batik fabric - one of the pieces was even printed with the outline of the State of Alaska. I always intended to make a table runner, just not the pattern that came in the kit (I thought that it wasn't special enough). So, I devised my own "pattern" and this is the result. I made it last November at our annual Quilting Weekend at Glenrose.

It didn't affect his masculinity quotient at all, well not much.
