This project bag is perfect for storing my unfinished craft projects and transporting them to craft days. It's made from a fat quarter bundle of brightly coloured chequered cotton and some tablecloth plastic (sold by the metre at Spotlight). I didn't use a pattern, but made it up as I went along.
The final project bag measures 17" x 14". There are 211 individually cut and sewn rectangles in the outer layer - I think I was slightly crazy. It was a lot of work for a project bag, but I think it looks great. The bag has wadding and is quilted to give it some body and sturdiness.
